Compound Found in Cruciferous Veggies May Help the Liver. Indole is compound found in cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage, kale, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts. A new study has found that individuals with lower amounts of indole in their diet have an elevated risk for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
